This Magento 2 module is an add-on package to the LokiCheckout.

Installation

Install this package via composer:

composer require loki-checkout/magento2-paypal

Next, enable this module:

bin/magento module:enable LokiCheckout_Paypal

Usage

This module adds Loki Checkout support for the following payment methods of the core Magento_Paypal module:

  • PayPal Payments Standard (paypal_express without in-context checkout): the "Place Order" button redirects the shopper to PayPal. The order is created when the shopper returns.
  • PayPal Payments Pro Hosted Solution (hosted_pro): after the order is placed, the shopper is redirected to the PayPal hosted payment form.
  • PayPal Billing Agreement (paypal_billing_agreement): logged-in customers with an active billing agreement select it in the checkout.

PayPal Express Checkout with smart buttons is supported by loki-checkout/magento2-paypal-express. Payments Advanced, Payflow Pro and Payflow Link are supported by loki-checkout/magento2-paypal-payflow.

When payment/paypal_express/skip_order_review_step is disabled, the PayPal review page (paypal/express/review) is not styled under Hyvä. Serve it via a Luma fallback theme. The PayPal Payments Pro Hosted Solution requires payment/hosted_pro/cctypes to be configured, for instance with bin/magento config:set payment/hosted_pro/cctypes MC,VI.
