LokiCheckout_WorldlineConnect

This Magento 2 module integrates the Worldline Connect payment into the LokiCheckout.

Installation

Install this package via composer:

composer require loki-checkout/magento2-worldline-connect

Next, enable this module:

bin/magento module:enable LokiCheckout_WorldlineConnect

Requirements

This module makes the payment methods of the Worldline Connect extension (Worldline_Connect, formerly Ingenico ePayments / GlobalCollect) work in the Loki Checkout. Worldline Connect itself does all of the communication with Worldline (payments, order creation, webhooks, refunds); this module only replaces its Luma checkout frontend.

Configuration

Configure Worldline Connect as usual under Stores > Configuration > Sales > Payment Methods > Worldline Connect:

Also make sure that:

• the Magento cron is running: Worldline Connect processes webhook events and abandoned payments by cron;
• the shop runs on a real (public) hostname: Worldline refuses hosted checkouts with a return URL on localhost.

How it works

• Order created after the payment (Worldline Connect default): when the shopper places the order, the payment is started for the quote through Worldline Connect (BaseCreatePaymentManagementInterface) and the shopper is redirected. Worldline Connect creates the order when the shopper returns (or when a webhook arrives). The Loki Checkout never places the order itself in this flow (PreventOrderBeforePaymentTask).
• Order created before the payment: the Loki Checkout places the order, after which RedirectResolver sends the shopper to the hosted checkout (epayments/hostedCheckoutPage) or to the inline return controller (epayments/inlinePayment/processReturn, which follows a 3-D Secure redirect).
• Inline payments render the payment product fields in the checkout. The bundled Worldline Connect client SDK (connect-sdk-client-js 4.1.1, MIT license) encrypts the input in the browser; card details never reach the shop. Card groups ("Cards") detect the brand from the card number.
• Saved cards (vault) are offered within the card methods for logged-in customers. The separate *_vault methods of Worldline Connect are hidden, like in the Luma checkout.
• Google Pay / Apple Pay open the wallet when the shopper places the order; the order is placed first, like in the Luma checkout. Apple Pay requires Safari on a domain verified with Apple.
• Hyvä: the Worldline Connect "waiting for payment" page and the success page cart refresh are replaced by versions without RequireJS.
• Payment method logos are taken from the Worldline payment products (cached for an hour).

Testing

Unit and integration tests run with Hersir. The integration tests under Test/Integration/Sandbox and all Playwright tests use the Worldline Connect pre-production environment and are skipped without these variables (in the environment or in .env.loki-functional-tests in the Magento root):
