# Open source vs paid plans

**Since October 2026, the Loki Checkout core is open source and available for free. However, we do have paid integrations and add-ons, available via the plans "Standard" and "Professional". Before diving into the actual adoptation, it is important to understand what comes available via what means.**

### Open source core
We have made the module `LokiCheckout_Core` available for free under an open source license. Its sources are available on GitHub - together with some other modules - under the GitHub organizations [LokiCheckout](https://github.com/LokiCheckout) and [LokiExtensions](https://github.com/LokiExtensions).

Support is not guaranteed. This is open source collaboration, not freeware. However, because we actively develop things, you can create new **Issues** and add **Pull Requests** and we'll do our best to help you and others if the issues are generic.

### Paid integrations and add-ons

These are additional modules and integrations that are not included in the open source core. They provide extra functionality and enhancements for the Loki Checkout, and are available through the "Standard" and "Professional" plans.

Most integrations (like PSPs and shipping integrations) that require additional work are placed under these plans. Also, nice-to-have additions (like flags, maps and user input) are available under these plans as well.
